TUNISIA

A few years ago, I began to travel more often. One of my favorite countries is London, but I like to talk about my trip last year of college.

In 2007, my classmates and I organized a trip to Tunisia. Tunisia surface of 165,000 km ², with an estimated population of 10.3 million. Approximately 40% of this country is composed of the Sahara desert, while the rest is fertile soil suitable for agriculture, also has 1,300 km of coastline. It borders Algeria to the west and Libya to the southeast.

This trip is memorable for me because we visited the place unique, exotic, very different from our country, these places we had seen only in movies. Tunisia is fantastic!

The first 4 days we slept in different places to visit all corners. We were in an oasis, a very interesting place where we do not stop taking photos. A man who taught us a hut built of palm leaves, invited us to test palm juice, very tasty! Another day, we reached the great desert, very impressive! All of us, we rode a camel with the help of a Tunisian, who was driving the camel with a rope.

The last days were spent in a resort on the beach. A luxury hotel with a very large pool. We visited the market, called ZOCO, with the best imitation of the world. The truth is that we all buy many things, because the prices were very low.

One of the things that impressed more it was the difference between poor and rich, there are very few people intermediate, or have it all or nothing.

I will never forget this trip!
